Denny and Kevin Gustafson started Gustafson Excavating together. Kevin previously gained knowledge and experience in pipe and excavating for several years; while Denny had a background in trucking out of high school, was a loader and grader operator, previously owned an excavation company in the early 70s as well as owning his own gas station in North Branch. Denny and Kevin started with a tractor backhoe, skid steer, a small dozer and a single axle dump truck and continued to grow the business together until Denny's retirement. 

 

Kevin currently operates the business with his son and two daughters, employing over 50 employees covering the twin cities, north metro; specializing in grading, site utilities and demolition ranging from apartments, residential subdivisions, gas stations, restaurants, septic installs, material sales and various residential excavating projects.
